Well, that didn’t take long. OT Will Beatty, who the Giants are relying on to protect Eli Manning’s back this year, is out of pads again. Tom Coughlin addressed the latest on Beatty this afternoon:

Will Beatty, did he practice?
“He’s back on the shelf. He’s back in the training room.”

Any idea if he’ll be available?
“I have no idea.”

He was in for a few days. You’d figure that he should be able to sustain that?
“That’s what we were hoping for. That’s what we thought would happen. They evaluated him last night and they didn’t feel like it was… They felt like if he kept going along the way he is right now, he would have only got worse and worse. They shut him down.”
