Schefter: Cruz, Tebow Staying Put

Adam Schefter is a hard-working NFL beat reporter, probably the best at what he does. Nothing goes down in this league without him knowing about it. His above tweet states the obvious on Tebow, and the unspoken about Cruz.

Tebow is a man without a position. He isn’t an NFL QB, and it would be a mistake to try him at another position. The NFL is not the place for entry-level candidates. The Jets are going to have to release Tebow. It’s sad, but almost everyone but the Jets saw this coming….

Most teams would love to have Cruz, but the tender price is too high. A first-round pick on top of an expensive longterm deal.
