The Giants moved OL Selvish Capers from the practice squad to the active roster today, to fill the vacancy created when they placed DT Markus Kuhn on IR.

Stephen Goodin, an OL who spent time with the Giants in Albany this summer, was signed to the practice squad.

Capers, 27, is 6’5″, 315 and played his college ball at West Virginia. He was a 7th round selection of the Redskins in the 2010 NFL Draft, but failed to make the roster in training camp and spent the season on their practice squad.

The Giants picked up Capers after he was released by the Redskins last October. He has been on the Giants’ practice squad ever since.
