Giants Ink ERFAs Tracy and Cordle
The Giants are slowly reforming their roster, re-signing two more of their exclusive-rights free agents this afternoon – DE Adrian Tracy and OL Jim Cordle, closing out the ERFA portion of the offseason.
From Rotoworld:
Tracy, a 2010 sixth-rounder, was converted from linebacker to defensive end last season, but played just 70 snaps. He’s been mentioned as someone to keep an eye on this summer in the defensive end rotation with Osi Umenyiora on his way out. Cordle appeared in all 16 games, playing mainly on special teams.
The Giants earlier re-signed DE Justin Trattou, also an ERFA. The team has several RFAs remaining they must either sign, tender or release the next few days: WR Victor Cruz, S Stevie Brown, RB Andre Brown and RB Ryan Torain.
