According to Dane Brugler of NFLDraftScout.com, the Giants will hold the 19th overall selection in the upcoming NFL Draft in April. The Eagles will have the 4th overall pick and Cowboys will select right in front of the Giants at 18. Washington’s slot will be determined after the playoffs, depending on how they fare.
The Kansas City Chiefs hold the first overall selection, while the Jets hold the ninth.

19th is no man’s land in the draft. One of the worst things that can happen to a team in the NFL these days is have a winning record and fail to make the playoffs. It sets off a vicious cycle of mediocrity.
That is, if you don’t have a plan. The Giants have a plan (good luck trying to figure it out), and this could be the year they make some radical moves to shake things up. They have been an 8, 9, 10 win team the past few seasons and should be better. GM Jerry Reese may finally feel he needs to make bolder strokes with personnel rather than the under-the-radar ones he’s been making.
