According to Pro Football Focus, Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz ranked fourth in the NFL in dropped passes this season.
Cruz, who was targeted 137 times (tied for fifth-most among receivers with the most drops), dropped a dozen passes and had a drop rate of 12.24 percent.
Despite a down year statistically, Cruz’s counterpart, Hakeem Nicks, dropped just two passes, sporting a drop rate of merely 3.64 percent.
Only Malcolm Floyd, Danny Amendola, Anquan Boldin, DeSean Jackson, Percy Harvin, Jason Avant and former Giant Mario Manningham finished 2012 with better rates.
