Preseason Week 3: Questions We Need Answered

Some issues need to be clarified during tonight’s game vs the Bears. Since next Wednesday’s game will be nothing more than a formality for the Giants, they need to know the answers to the below questions tonight:

Running Back: Earth, Wind and Fire is dead. Are the Giants looking to resurrect “Thunder and Lightning” with Henry Hynoski and David Wilson? Tune in tonight….

Defensive Line: Will Chris Canty start the season on PUP? If he does, who takes his place on the line? Will Marvin Austin ever play a game for the Giants? Are the Giants serious about Markus Kuhn, or will he be cut? What will they do with all these young pass rushers?

Offensive Line: Will they ever run-block worth a damn again? What’s the story with Will Beatty? When are the Giants going to realize that he’s injury-prone and make real contingency plans at tackle? Will David Diehl and Sean Locklear be swapped this week? How soon before James Brewer gets his bus ticket?

Wide Receiver: Are Ramses Barden’s days as a Giant over? Please say yes. Is David Douglas really a keeper? How can they justify cutting Isaiah Stanback? How soon before Rueben Randle is named a starter?

Linebacker: Is it time to hand the keys over to Mark Herzlich? Can Keith Rivers fulfill his potential with the Giants? How in God’s green earth do you tell Jake Muasau he isn’t an NFL-caliber player?

Secondary: Is Will Hill the real deal? Will Prince ever “stand up for himself”? Terrell Thomas: are his chances of playing in 2012 realistic?
