From Rotoworld…..The deal includes a $12.5 million signing bonus, and $19 million guaranteed. It’s a nice haul for a player who finally stayed healthy last season after missing 14 combined games between 2010-11. Three days shy of his 28th birthday, Beatty allowed just three sacks and 22 hurries in 967 snaps last season. He was never expected to reach free agency.

Well, one less piece to worry about on that OL. This is very good news for the Giants going forward. They have invested a lot in Beatty over time and now want to cash in on the prime of his career. Good team guy, too.
How does this change their draft plans? It doesn’t. If there is a quality OT staring at them at 19, they may still bite. Next up: Martellus Bennett and Kevin Boothe.
