Saturday Morning Report: Giants to Unleash Hokie Speed vs Falcons
John Fennelly , Executive Editor
The Giants will head to Atlanta today for their showdown tomorrow against the Falcons. David Wilson will start at RB for the injured Ahmad Bradshaw. He will not performing any backflips in the end zone, however. With only recently signed Kregg Lumpkin and Ryan Torain behind him on the depth chart, the team has asked the speedy one to curb his enthusiasm should he reach paydirt this week.
Wilson’s fellow Virginia Tech teammate, Jayron Hosley will most likely draw the start at CB in place of Prince Amukamara (hamstring) , who has been ruled out of tomorrow’s game.
GEICO SportsNite has reaction from Tom Coughlin and David Wilson, as the Giants will be without Ahmad Bradshaw Sunday against the Falcons.

Yes, it’s a bit of a risk, but these guys have to play sometime. Wilson will continue to return kickoffs and has shown some pop in the running game, albeit vs the pathetic Saints’ run defense. He is a known entity around the league now, but the Falcons will still have a major challenge shutting him down.
Hosley can surprise with his speed and field sense. He just needs to stick to his assignments, something he has had difficulty with. He’ll be up against one of the league’s best receiving tandems in Julio Jones and Roddy White. He can run with both, but how he will fare size-wise remains to be seen. White has not practiced all week due to a knee injury.
