Former Giants pass-rush aficionado Lawrence Taylor made an appearance on Showtime’s “Inside the NFL” last night, where he participated in a segment called “Dear Insiders.”

When asked about how Tim Tebow could succeed in the NFL, he said some … off-centered advice.

“I would say he would have to go to church, Temple — wherever he goes — find a nice girl,” said Taylor, who added some more colorful language. “I mean marry her if he has to … but he’s got to get some of that pressure off.”

Former Giants QB Phil Simms and Cris Collinsworth laughed at Taylor’s remarks. Simms added:

“I mean marry her if he has to … but he’s got to get some of that pressure off.”
