Giants Injury Report: Rocky Bernard, Kenny Phillips out again
The Giants released their injury report for Sunday’s tilt with Washington. Defensive tackle Rocky Bernard will miss his second consecutive game with a quadriceps injury, and safety Kenny Phillips will be out for a third game due to a torn MCL.
In addition, linebacker Jacquian Williams will be out as he nurses a knee injury.
Running back Ahmad Bradshaw is listed as questionable with his foot injury. Bradshaw did not participate in practice Friday, though head coach Tom Coughlin said his back was just too sore.
Rookie David Wilson and Andre Brown would be in line for an increased workload should Bradshaw be limited or not be able to go Sunday. Though it’s pretty likely Bradshaw will start.
Michael Boley also missed Friday’s practice.
Hakeem Nicks (foot/knee) is listed as questionable for the Redskins game after practicing all three days this week for the first time this season. Nicks said he felt much healthier than he did last weekend, and we’ll see if he is being truthful. The Redskins have struggled all season long against the pass.
