Diehl, Nicks Will Be Game Time Decisions

WR Hakeem Nicks and OL David Diehl both made the trip to San Francisco with the team today. Nicks has been battling both foot and knee ailments and last played against the Bucs in Week 2. Diehl has also been out since Week 2 with a knee sprain.

DT Rocky Bernard (quad), RB Andre Brown (concussion) and S Kenny Phillips (knee) were all ruled out yesterday and did not make the trip.

From Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York:

Of course, Nicks still could potentially be a game-time decision. He may need to see how his knee feels after the cross-country flight and how it feels after warmup on Sunday before the game. But he made the trip and that is something that didn’t happen before the Carolina and Philadelphia games.

Nicks, tackle David Diehl (knee) and cornerback Corey Webster (hand/hamstring) were listed as questionable but they all made the trip. Webster only practiced once this week but he is expected to play.

Here’s a tweet from the Giants featuring Nicks on the team plane…..
