Bradshaw, Diehl, Hixon Ruled Out of Thursday’s Game

RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), OL David Diehl (knee) and WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) missed today’s workout and have been ruled out of tomorrow night’s game vs the Panthers in Carolina. DE Adewale Ojomo (hamstring) is also out, although he was limited in practice this morning.

CB Michael Coe (hamstring) was limited and is questionable. WR Hakeem Nicks did not practice, but the Giants expect him to play against the Panthers.

LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), CB Prince Amukamara (ankle) and RB Da’Rel Scott (knee) all practiced in full and are listed as probable.

Nicks really strained himself Sunday racking up 199 yards against Tampa. The Giants did not work him this week, but Tom Coughlin said that was the plan.

Coe has been playing through his hamstring woes, and he will be a game time decision. If Prince plays, and its looking more and more like he will, Coe’s services may not be needed. If he plays, he will only play in certain packages. Jayron Hosley, who started last week, will see the majority of reps again this week.

Rivers may get another week off to play it safe. The Giants don’t have another game for 10 days after tomorrow. Scott will be needed because the Giants only have two other RBs (Andre Brown and David Wilson) with Bradshaw out.

Hixon’s absence will give Ramses Barden and Rueben Randle a chance to strut their stuff. The Giants need to see one of these emerge as compliment to Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz
