The Giants have not divulged the exact nature of OT Sean Locklear’s injury. It was originally reported as a knee injury. WFAN had reported the injury as a broken leg. Either way, the veteran tackle will be undergoing surgery, effectively ending his season.

Locklear, in his first year with the Giants, was having a solid season. He is a respected veteran who was fitting in well with the club. We send out our get well wishes to him for a speedy recovery.

Tom Coughlin said Locklear will likely go on IR. Said “we all feel badly for Sean. It is a serious injury and we are very upset about that.”
