Bengals WR AJ Green’s Eyesight is Perfect

Today on the Boomer and Caron Show on WFAN, Cincinnati Bengals’ WR AJ Green had this to say about the Giants’ defense:

“I feel like they’ve got a lot of holes in their defense….Their front four, they get so much pressure on the quarterback. A lot of people don’t have that much time to get the big plays on them.”

Nothing wrong with the young man’s eyesight. The Giants are a kill-or-be-killed defense. If they don’t get to the QB, as Bill Chadwick would say: “Katy, bar the door!” It’s no mistake their games resemble a Hearns-Hagler fight. Haymaker city. If their offense whiffs on few, they get hammered by the media. The defense keeps getting a pass.

Down-in and down-out, they may appear competent but at least 5-6 times a game they leave you scratching your head: “Who’s guy was that…?” or “What happened there…?”…”Where is everyone…?” …”Bueller…Bueller?”

Huge chunks of yardage are being surrendered. Tom Coughlin called the defense soft. He’s right. Time to tighten things up.
